I wonder how this relates to the Hey Fem thread too Kate? What were you drinking yesterday? And is the intro to Cookie boy for you or Fem? Do you like conceited but good looking men? Actually I think as a boyfriend he would probably been quite sweet.

Funniest thing was, I had just finished posting this thread when said "boss lady" from my first post turned up at my door (actually I was in the middle of sending Fem an email). She had come so we could watch a promotional video, but she had cleaned out the fridges in the kitchen at work and decided we would be worthy recipients of the food! Seven hard boiled eggs and a container of cauliflower soup! Two hours and two bottles of wine later, she went home after having picked the video to pieces! I didn't think it was that bad! My husband has always been kind of ambivilant in his opinion about her, but she was in such rare form last night that as she was leaving I said "You can't help but like her can you?" and finally he agreed! lol

And Cookie boy is certainly easy on the eye, but I am with you Fem, 29 is just too young these days. I want a man who knows who Neil Armstrong was, and understands why unmasking "Deep Throat" was such a monumental event! lol

The Fishman. He is worth praising but that can wait. Seems no one else knows anyone worth mentioning!

And yes, mentioning them in the Hi Fem thread certainly counts.

Think I will just rename this thread, Stories of Cookie Boy coz I got Cookie Boy a beauty this afternoon.

As I was leaving work I popped my head in on the boss and Cookie Boy having a conference and I said "I'm going now" and the boss said "Oh, so Cookie Boy can go with you, he is just leaving now." And the devil was in me so I said "Oh yes, I have been waiting for this opportunity." And my boss rolled her eyes and said "Oh puhlease!" and I replied "Oh yes, I have been waiting to take Cookie Boy home and teach him a thing or two!"

And I laughed and she laughed and Cookie Boy blushed and mumbled "I am sure you could!" Oh god those eyes. If only! lolol

Fembol, it was a WILD ride home I still don't think Cookie Boy has me worked out. And sure you can say that stuff to men you don't really want. It is harder to say it to the ones you want! But, give it four years and then you will tell them anything! lol

But today I am at my favourite place. The Fishman's! There are three guys here, all the same and all different. The Fishman - master craftsman / carpenter who spends all his time now drafting tenders and dealing with exasperating clients! From where I sit we can see each other, and although it is not in my job description, I will answer the phones, and I watch him as I ascertain who is on the line to see how he reacts. When he ducks under the desk he is most definitely NOT available! He is amazingly warm and funny, and HE LOVES ELVIS COSTELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol Damned but he is nearly perfect, but I also am amazingly fond of his wife as well! LOLOL

Then there is Biker Dude who loves his new BMW motorbike more than any woman I am sure! When I first started here, the woman who had my job before me said he never smiled and had no sense of humour, but slowly I have discovered this is not the case at all. (I think the problem was the woman, who didn't seem to have a good word for anyone!) When I found out his birthday is only a few days after mine, I bought in a cake for him last year and we shared it. Biker dude is in charge of getting the lunch on Wednesdays and when he comes around with the noodle box menu he has won me! lol

And lastly there is Scotty who can do anything, though he tells me he is the untalented one in his family, as his younger brother has all the good looks (he must be another Adonis then as Scotty is no slouch in the looks department) and all the talent as he is a musician and artist. I had to book Scotty and Biker Dude into a country hotel recently and it just so happened that the only one available on that particular night was in an establishment that also boasted one of the state's top flight restaurants. When the booking clerk asked me if I wanted to book them into the restaurant for dinner I politely declined, knowing they would much rather be down the pizza joint, or probably just in the bar!

Today the three of them were in the kitchen when I went to make my morning coffee (pogging on egg and bacon rolls!) and Biker dude "thanked" me for arranging the tickets to a local mens club. Funnily enough I had received tickets to one of these establishments at another client's so I just said "anytime" to him, and then saw that "we" had received six tickets. "You can each take a friend" I said. Then Biker Dude went on to talk about an ad he had seen in the yellow pages for a brothel which charged $5,000 an hour. We speculated a little about what you got for your money at that rate (more than bring a friend rates), and then I said "And what were you doing looking at the brothel page in the yellow pages anyway!"

We are all on tenterhooks here at the moment. They have a tender in (only one of three design houses invited to tender) for a MASSIVE project and we think they will make a decision about it this week. I have my fingers crossed which will account for any typos!
