Maybe it is because I don't really want anything from him, so it is easy to tease him? Maybe it is because I was a born flirt? lol Maybe it is just my age, because I have the confidence to do it that I didn't have 20 years ago? (When it is a man you REALLY want, it's not quite as easy - there is more at stake! lol And then I don't think my confidence is the same!!!!) And probably, if I got the vibe from him "lets just give the old girl a thrill" I wouldn't do it, but I think, for all his bravado and conceit about his talents as a chef (and he does have them) this is playing on something he is a little less secure about! lol The fishman is out. We have them with jam and cream - I think you have them with gravy And we certainly do NOT have them for breakfast (unless we are being glutteonous!) Scones are usually on the sweet side and you can put currants or other fruit in it. Biscuits are more savory and the texture is different - it's layered and flaky, but definitely not like puff pastry or pie crust. Hmm tho I suppose some biscuit recipes are somewhat similar to scones, just not sweet but if you order a scone here, ya ain't gonna get a biscuit! In the South they do the gravy thang, but here we mostly do the butter and /or jam or honey thang. I'm still doing the berry waffle thang but this is the Cookie Boy thread - where's more Cookie Boy news? Actually, I'd rather hear more about The Fishman.
